What kind of house to buy in France

France’s climate is temperate and of variety. Summers are mild and winters are cool in some areas and with mild winters and summers are hot in the Mediterranean part. The beautiful climate of France is one of the many factors why people all over the world buy houses to settle in this great place. This country is a very much conducive place to live, work and brings a family.

In buying a house we must decide first on the “what, when, where, and how”. It is actually a sequence of decisions. The “what” concern is actually the easiest of the question compared with the other question. Houses fall into different categories; most probably these are our choices: townhouses, condominiums or single family homes. These housing has its advantages and disadvantages. One kind may suit you better than the other one.

• Single family homes. In this kind of housing this property is not attached to any other house or property. The enclosed space where the house is built is yours. In this kind of housing the space is really your own. You can decorate, resale, repaint and renovate you own house using your own expenses. This kind of housing has the highest re-sale value. The disadvantage of this kind of housing is that it may lack amenities like the pools, playground, etc. And it is quite expensive in most area. It is best to buy houses in the south of France in the Mediterranean Sea because there are plenty of beaches here that are warmer and sandier. Even though it is more expensive compared to other areas.

• Townhouses. In this kind of housing this property is attach to another property but you own the land. If, you don’t owned the land then it is already a condominium. This kind of house brings in security that your home is near a neighbor’s home. There may be facilities that you can use such as pool, tennis courts, playgrounds, etc. One of the disadvantages of living in this kind of house is that you give up privacy and the choice of changing the outside of the house is limited. A 1080 meter squared garden, a studio apartment, 1080 meter squared garden are available at Charente Maritime, France.

• Condominium. This kind of housing limits your ownership to the walls, floors and ceiling of the property you own. The maintenance of the whole area such as repairs, cutting of the grass is shouldered by the owner or the association of the condominium. Condominiums are the cheapest compared to other housing type. Many condominium offer amenities like swimming pool, play areas, tennis courts, etc. It is often located in places that are convenient to centers of shopping and employment. Yet, it takes longer to sell a condominium. Condominiums located in Paris Arrondissement are the best. Usually, businessmen who go to and fro in Paris owns condominiums for cheaper and posh accommodations.

In choosing and buying a house it is all up to you what kind of house fits your needs. But it is easier if you know the limitations of your budget and the kind of house fits you and your family.
